China Airlines is enhancing its service offerings between Taiwan and Japan by launching a new daily flight route connecting the city of Taichung with Okinawa. This move increases the airline’s round-trip flights between the two countries to over 170 weekly trips, further solidifying its presence in the Japanese market.
The newly introduced route utilizes an Airbus A321neo aircraft, with flight CI310 departing from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI311, is scheduled to leave Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and touch down in Taichung at 2:10 p.m., providing convenient travel options for passengers.
In an effort to offer even more flexibility for travelers, China Airlines plans to add a second daily flight on August 13. This additional service, flight CI312, will take off from Taichung at 3:20 p.m., reaching Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. On the return leg, flight CI313 will depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and land in Taichung at 7:30 p.m., catering to both business and leisure passengers.
With these new additions, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week, in conjunction with its existing routes from other major Taiwanese cities such as Taipei and Kaohsiung. This expanded network not only enhances connectivity between Taiwan and Japan but also provides travelers with more options and convenience.
This strategic expansion underscores China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening its service network and improving travel accessibility in the Asia-Pacific region. By increasing the frequency and range of its flights, the airline aims to cater to the growing demand for air travel between Taiwan and Japan, benefiting both tourism and business sectors.
